What is the difference between the $150 and $165 blood test options?

The blood tests themselves are the same. The price difference is based on the pathology provider and collection network available in your area.

Before purchasing, please check whether there is an Australian Clinical Labs (ACL) collection centre near you. If an ACL collection centre is conveniently located in your area, the $150 blood test option is suitable for you.

If there is no Australian Clinical Labs collection centre reasonably accessible in your area, we offer an alternative pathology provider option for $165. This option provides access to the same blood testing panel through an extended network of pathology providers, including Laverty Pathology, QML Pathology, 4Cyte Pathology, Western Diagnostic Pathology (WDP), Dorevitch Pathology, and TML Pathology.

If you are unsure which option to select, please contact our team before purchasing and we will be happy to assist.

What happens after I purchase a blood test?

Once your purchase has been completed, you will receive an email containing your pathology referral form along with detailed instructions on how to prepare for your blood test.

This email will include important information such as:

• Whether fasting is required and for how long
• How to book your collection (if applicable)
• The location of your nearest collection centre
• What to bring with you on the day of testing
• Any additional instructions relevant to your blood test

After your sample has been collected and processed by the pathology provider, your results will be made available for review and can be used as part of your eligibility assessment and consultation process with Alpha Edge Clinic.

Can I add extra testing to my referral?

No. These blood test panels have been specifically designed to provide comprehensive health screening at the lowest possible cost through our partnered pathology providers.

To keep pricing affordable and ensure a streamlined testing process, additional biomarkers or custom testing cannot be added to these referrals. The panels are provided as fixed testing packages and are intended to offer a broad overview of key health markers relevant to eligibility and review through Alpha Edge Clinic.

How do I view my results after completing my blood test?

When purchasing your blood test, you will create a login and password for your secure patient portal. Please keep these details safe, as they will provide access to your results once they become available.

After your blood sample has been collected and processed by the pathology provider, your results will be uploaded to your portal, where you can view your comprehensive blood work, individual biomarker readings, and pathology report.

Your portal allows you to access your results at any time and review your health markers in detail.

What happens after my blood test is completed?

Once your results have been received, the Alpha Edge Clinic team will review your pathology markers alongside your completed Health Assessment Questionnaire. Both your blood work and health assessment are used to build a comprehensive understanding of your health, symptoms, goals, and suitability for treatment.

Our consultation team will then contact you to discuss your results, explain any relevant findings, outline potential treatment options that may be suitable for your individual circumstances, and provide full pricing information.

If you decide to proceed, we will arrange a consultation with one of our prescribing doctors, who will conduct a comprehensive medical assessment and determine whether a personalised treatment program is appropriate for you.

Please note that purchasing a blood test does not guarantee eligibility for treatment, prescription medications, or acceptance into any Alpha Edge Clinic program. All treatment decisions are made by a qualified doctor following a clinical assessment.
